Preface

Every day is worthy of a precious life, and should never be wasted. The way to use it meaningfuly is to listen to God's words at the beginning of a day. Success or failure of a day depends on one's spirit in the morning. Getting out of bed in the morning, one should first read God's words and pray to God, and the battle of a day begun this way is bound to be victorious. There is no doubt about it even if it should look like a defeat. And renewing this throughout everyday makes one's life a truly successful one. In working out this book, what the author and editors took as model is the world-famous Bogatzky's Golden Treasury. The author's thoughts added to every selection, there is nothing like this Bogatzky's work as daily spiritual food for the soul. I am overwhelmed when we compare our work with that world-famous book, but have decided to publish it, hoping that it should at least be better than not doing it. I do hope that the Holy Spirit will complement what we lack and bless us with His favor corresponding to our efforts.
