A Day A Life consists of Ichinichi Issho edited by Hanzo Azegami (153 days), Zoku Ichinichi Issho edited by Taizo Yamamoto (157 days), and Uchimura's English works, Alone with God (57 days) and The Japan Christian Intelligencer (10 days). The Translation of "Ichinichi Issho" and "Zoku Ichinichi Issho" is based on Itojiro Morimoto's work (Published by Nenrin, an old People's Home, Sakai, Japan, 1992) for 249 days. The translation of "Non-church" and 24th Feburary is taken from Sources of Japanese Tradition (Tsunoda et al, 1973).
  2. Women's Speaking and the Bible is based on Larry Kuenning's edition of Historical Quaker e-texts.
  3. "Pacifism among Japanese Non-church Christians," is a reproduction of Journal of The American Academy of Religion. vol. 41 (1973), pp. 506-519, by permission.
