Christian, A Sinner
If I claim to be a Christian, this is in no way to boast of my high standard of virtue. The name "Christian" is not a title of honor but a species of sinners. A Christian recognizes the depth of one's sinfulness and clings to the cross of Christ to ask pardon of God. Paul was a Christian; Peter was a Christian. This sounds nowadays a tribute of honor, but in their days, this meant a grave social disgrace on them. Anyone who cannot confess before men and women that he or she is a sinner, cannot be a Christian. If anyone who gets into the false notion of a Christian denoting at once a civilized wise person does not yet understand the ABC's of Christianity.

Meaning of Suffering
We suffer various matters. And suffering is a necessary condition for us. It purifies, trains, and makes us perfect before God. To our salvation, we may be necessary to suffer domestic problem, illness, lost love, poverty or failure. Each of us needs a specific suffering to recover from one's bondage of sin as we take a specific medicine according to illness. Suffering is not the result of the previous life, but the preparation for other world. It is not punishment but grace. By suffering we are purified to enter the Nation of God and perfected to a son of God. Rejoice, therefor, for your suffering.
