Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.Isaiah 43:19
Evolution and Bible
I believe the Bible to be true; I also believe Evolution or rather Science to be true. The Bible is true in the realm of spirit, and Science is true in the realm of senses. The reconciliation of the Bible with science is as difficult as that of spirit with senses, of the Invisible with the Visible. Still I believe the two to be one at the bottom, perfectly reconcilable as the two lobes of the brain or the two arms of the body, one just as indispensable as the other. Is there not evolution in the Bible itself, and do we not observe special creation (call it mutation, or by any other name you like) in the evolutionary processes of life, sudden unexplainable changes, apparently self-existing, but nevertheless fundamental and epoch-making. I observed such a change in my own life; I call it "Christian conversion," a sudden leap from one stage of life to another. So I am forced to be an evolutionist and a special fundamentalist at the same time. Both are the facts of life, and I cannot gainsay them.

And I said to you, You are My servant; I have chosen you, and not cast you away. Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.Isaiah 41: 9-10
Secret of Success
Do things which you are compelled by outside, and you will be succeed unfailingly. If you do things that you want to do from own, it will fail inevitably. The compelled condition is not your manipulation, but God's dictation. The will of God is fulfilled and the intention of self is failed. The secret of success is to do things that God compels.

Now has been made plain, and by the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.Romans 16:26
Endurance of Bible
Christianity renews itself year after year, while other religions die away in process of history. The old Bible has not perished along with the times. Is this due to the perfectness of its philosophy? Unlikely. Yea, ever renewing of Christianity is always accompanied by the living God. Endurance of the Bible is due to the eternity of God, who quickens the human heart with His truth in all scenes. And as long as God abides, the truth of the Bible shall not lose its vitality. Believing in God, we shall embody the truth of Christianity and be partakers of its salvation.

The Nation of God is not in letter, but in power.1 Corinthians 4:20
Power of Christianity
God is not theory but practical power. Life is not logic but practice. Religion of salvation must be of a great power. Belles and letters cannot save human. Philosophy cannot transform the world. If Christianity, as it proclaims, is God's truth, it should not be merely to please humans like literature or philosophy. The word of God "converts the soul," as the Psalmist says (Psalms 19: 7). "It is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). "It is the power of God to salvation of everyone that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile" (Romans 1:16). Christianity did not come "with excellency of speech or of wisdom" (1 Corinthians 2: 1), as asserted by its evangelist.

The Nation of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown it is the greatest among herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.Matthew 13:31-32
Everlasting Truth
Truth, like a grain of mustard seed, grows even to eternity. Salvation by Christ is truth. Luther heard this to stand up; Bunyan heard this to his rest. But, what made Luther the Luther was not merely the word of his master, Staubitz. Luther needed still his solitary thinking and prayer over 3-4 years at the monastery. Even the passionate Bunyan, after realizing the great truth of remission of sins, took 12 years' drilling at the Bedford Prison. To possess a great truth, whether of reason or of faith, is to make a great stride ahead. But any impact, however sensational or emotional, which does not touch upon our reason, will sooner or later be reduced to nothing.

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, where are your plagues; O Grave, where is your ruin. Repentance shall be hidden from My eyes.Hosea 13:14
Things Not Be Afraid
The first that we should not be afraid of is failure. Failure is the guidance of God to alter the compass of life. After repeated failures we come to know the mission of life designated by God. The second that we should not be afraid of is tribulation. Tribulation is the goad with which God drives us to the pasture of rest. He prepared for us. The third that we should not be afraid of is death. Death is the last operation to separate the pure gold of sanctified souls from the damned of flesh. Crossing death, we come to the Nation of Glory founded by God for the saints.

God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and he said, Thus shall You say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.Exodus 3:14
God Is
God is. Oh blessed thought. God the loving Father, who is love itself, "is"; He exists, rules, and takes care of the world, mankind, my country, my home, and me. What more need I know? Peace everlasting should be mine. The world is in turmoil, nations arming themselves to the teeth, diplomats sitting in a council to bring about a universal peace, toiling hard to attain the end, the future all unknown, dark, terrible; indeed darkness covers the earth, and gross darkness the people, as was as foretold by a prophet (Isaiah 60: 2). But "God is" settles the problems of the world. All is right. We can rest and sleep in peace, as Jesus the Almighty Power incarnate slept at the stern of the ship which carried His disciples over the furious waves of the sea (Matthew 8:23-27).

Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts are overweighted down with non-sense, drunkenness and worries of this life; and that day should come on you; for it shall come as a snare on all those sitting on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, praying always that you may be counted worthy to be saved all these things which shall come, and to stand before the Son of man.Luke 21:34-36
Prophecy of Judgment
The true believers look up to Jesus not as the liberator of this world for social reform, home purification or moral edification, but as the savior at the great day of God's judgment. When Felix, the governor, came with his wife Drusilla, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as Paul reasoned of righteousness, temperance and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, "Go your way for this time; when I have convenient season, I will call for you" (Acts 24:24-25). And what lacks of the present day preachers, theologians, higher critics, clergymen and missionaries is a warning preach about the coming judgment, which sufficed the governor to tremble.

One who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of one's belly shall flow rivers of living water"John 7:38
Living Water
A person of faith works always. The person never gets tired because he or she does not dissipate one's own power. Practically, however, a power comes to and through a person, so that he or she can work by one's self. Is this not an ideal Life? "Without haste and without rest," as Goethe's motto. But Christians are practicing daily more than what the poet dreamed of. A new power will be given, as we believe; and with the new power added we cannot remain quiet without doing anything. Believing in Christ, that is, leaving one's whole body and soul to His care, a Christian will turn out to be a reservoir, flowing forth rivers of living water to quench many a thirsty soul.
