The Japanese Ethos -- a Weberian Sociology of Japanese Character. Master's Thesis at Mie University, 1986. (Written in Japanese)
Weber and Abukuma Moriyuki Abukuma encountered Max Weber's The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism in 1983, when he was a junior student of agriculture. He was so moved that he decided to study Max Weber's sociology throughout his lifetime. Weber opened Abukuma's eyes to the historical development of the elimination of magic from the world and from the way of salvation. That is to say, any sacraments whether baptism, the Lord Supper, or even the ordination of priest have no use for salvation. This revelation convinced his belief in Non-Church Christianity which mission is to carry out the elimination of magic from the Christian way of salvation.
Abukuma Academy A school for the study of academic truth, in the beginning, Max Weber's sociology. Moriyuki Abukuma opens Abukuma Academy in January 2000 and lectures Weber's sociology of religion.
